“Our barn is remote and does not have electrical service available.  We wanted something that would allow us to operate lights and have provide power for tools and some toys we wanted.  We turned to David Frame and Great Lakes Applied Power for a solution.  After consulting with David, we decided to go with a 5000 watt Off-Grid Powercell with 1100 watts of solar.  This system provides all of our electrical needs.  I have been able to tackle some fairly descent sized projects using a chop saw, drill press, circular saw, routers and other small electrical tools.  The electrical system does the job for our remote location.  Lastly, our system is expandable, so if we decide we need a little extra juice, we have the ability to increase capacity.”
