For every 1 KW of Solar Capacity installed, our system will generate 1400 KW-hours of electric energy per year, right here in Michigan!

With Hybrid Solar Technology, the electricity generated from solar power can be used 100% in your home or farm. You do not have to sell back excess energy to the power company at a reduced rate, and don’t need a power sell agreement with the power company. Incoming solar power can be used directly in your home and farm buildings, and the excess power can be stored in a Lithium battery bank for use after the sun goes down to extend solar power usage up to 24 hours/day.

Sustainable Power System: With hybrid technology the system can be set up to provide power backup to your priority circuits in your home, and critical loads in your farm operation. The battery bank provides power when the grid is down, and can be re-charged with solar, or a gas generator.

Solar Arrays: We offer roof mounted and ground mounted solar arrays. Our unique tilt-frame design allows for very easy adjustment of the tilt-angle to maximize the solar harvest winter and summer by changing the tilt angle just twice a year. A 3-D optimized array stretches the daily solar harvest over a much longer time period to maximize the solar power available for direct use in the home or farm. This has the effect of reducing grid power usage over a longer time period each day, and reduces your electric bill more than traditional design with all south facing panels.

The battery bank is a modular system with Lithium Iron Phosphate 5KWH modules, with 6000 cycle lifetime capacity, and a 10-year warranty from Pytes Energy in Carrollton, Texas. The expected lifetime for this battery bank is actually over 16 years based on the 6000 cycles, 1 cycle per day. LFP or Lithium Iron Phosphate has been proven to be the safest and most reliable battery chemistry. Due to the modular design, battery banks can be assembled from 10 KWH up to 500 KWH capacity for home and farm applications.

The generator we recommend for most installations is a Champion 8.5KW home standby gas generator, which can run off propane or natural gas, has the lowest fuel consumption of any of the home standby generators, and also has a 10-year warranty by a US company, Champion Power Equipment.

For extended grid power outages, this small standby gas generator will re-charge the battery bank very efficiently. The hybrid system will automatically start the generator and will turn it off when the battery bank is re-charged, this feature saves 80-90% of the fuel usage as compared to a 24KW standby gas generator that runs continuously.

  • For home with no existing provisions for backup power but wish to add solar power for energy independence and reduced reliance on grid power, the Hybrid Power Cell with at least one solar array is ideal. This setup can sync to grid and feed solar power into the main AC panel for use in home and keep the battery bank fully charged as a backup power source.

    We will customize the system for your specific needs. All Power Cells are pre-wired and pre-engineered for easy installation by a licensed electrician.

Note 1: Estimated energy savings per year vs. 24KW whole house generator, based on 10 days/yr with no grid power. A 24KW whole house generator uses 50 gal/day propane at 2.00$/gal while our system uses only 6 gal/day of propane when the grid is out.
